The Winter Holiday Collection was inspired by tweed and its legacy. It is the only fabric that reflects the texture and colors of its surroundings - the Scottish Highlands - in its pattern and thus sets itself apart from any other material. This Holiday collection consists of five modern interpretations of a Tweed garment.
The Manhattan skirt is a mid-long pleated skirt that slightly overlaps in the front. The skirt has a pocket on the back just below the waistline that reads the MÄRCHEN logo.
The pleated skirt design has been a recurring motive in the brand’s heritage. The Manhattan skirt can be seen as MÄRCHEN’s interpretation of a traditional Scottish kilt.
The fabric of skirt – Boundary Stone Tweed, allows the wearer to roam around and move freely.
