Its design is inspired by the island tradition of hand knitting and the crochet method called “Cable knit” which mostly uses the same shade of yarn and combines different three-dimensional graphics, originally to express the story of a family.
Crafted from a high-quality baby alpaca wool, our AW23 Holiday Maude Alpaca Sweater is exceptionally soft against the skin. Contrary to what the name suggests, the fibre does not come from a baby alpaca but rather from the adult alpaca, referring to the softest part of the animal. Besides its softness and quality, the alpaca fibre does not require a chemical treatment, bleaching or dyeing and it does not contain lanolin, making it the perfect garment for those with sensitive skin. The neckline is larger and wider, making it easy to wear with anything underneath and revealing a clean collarbone when worn alone.
