The SS22 Biba Dress is a summer interpretation of an apron dress. The straps are embellished with MÄRCHEN’s signature bows. The dress is softly accentuated at the waistline and the apron skirt with its pleats creates a voluminous silhouette from the waist down.
The Biba Dress was designed to fit in the imaginary wardrobe of Marjorie ‘Marge’ Sherwood, Gwyneth Paltrow's character in psychological thriller The Talented Mr Ripley (1999). Marge is a permanent resident of a fictitious place nostalgic of the Sicilian coast and one of the fictional inspirations of our SS22 collection, as the personification of a never ending summer
